Safety shock absorbers from the SDH and SCS product families optimize this test stand. At the end of a 6-meter acceleration path, they brake the sled equipped with test materials quickly, precisely and reliably. In the process, they reliably dissipate a kinetic energy of up to 32 kJ without rebound. This is the only way to ensure that the sled and the overall structure remain undamaged for subsequent crash measurements. The dampers are also ideal emergency stop solutions in automatic placement machines, gantry and conveyor systems, and end-position safety devices for axes in positioning systems and machine tools.
